The transition from Dorset to Devon was a little more leisurely than usual. This time it was by car so the hills and busy roads in this part of the world were not an issue. All you get to see of
Burton Bradstock on a bike is a signpost. Today we landed at the
The Hive Cafe for a bit of lunch. This is a very popular Cafe right on the sea-front. Prices are moderate and the food is good. Nice place for a
cliff walk with great unspoiled views.

With Lunch out of the way we headed for
Charmouth,
Lyme Regis and onward to Seaton where we were booked into a B & B. Seaton is not the prettiest of Towns but it has reasonably cheap accommodation and is a good base for exploring the area.

We stayed at
Blue Waters for two nights, £70 per night.
Dinner at
The Ship in Axmouth, which was fair value with good service, rounded off a good day.
Seaton's neighbour is
Beer and it is normally a pleasant cliff side walk away. Last winter caused the cliff to subside and took the old road with it. Anyway, it was still a good walk to the old fishing village that is now popular with tourists.
