France - A walk in the Dordogne - Plus Beaux Villages - the prettiest villages

Hotel Bonne Famille in Sarrazac - lovely A very amiable wander through the Plus Beaux Villages We booked our trip to France last year and it was definitely a moment to savour as we made the first steps on our journey through the Dordogne. Turn left out of the Hotel... We were setting out on a self-guided walk through some of the prettiest villages in France. It all seemed easy when we booked and paid our deposit but we did not get the full details and distances until we had paid in full. TW in particular was horrified by some of the daily distances. In fact she put the instructions back in the envelope and hid them behind the lounge sofa until the day we left. I was more concerned about getting to France. This was an Anglo-Australian expedition but we all needed to Travel from Austria where we had spent a week in the Gastein Valley.
