Dorset - Punch and Judy on Swanage Beach

Domestic Strife - August 2011

Violence broke out on the sands of Swanage at the weekend. Injuries, not believed to be life threatening, were suffered by Punch and Judy. Apparently domestic difficulties have been experienced regularly by this couple over the last 350 years.  A large crowd of minors watched the events and appeared at times to be encouraging the couple.  “Oh yes you did!”

Wing walking at Bournemouth Air Show

Ryanair are apparently looking at a novel way of increasing the passenger capacity on their low cost flights. A new priority boarding category is being trialled whereby passengers will be offered an outside position on the wing. As well as increasing capacity it will offer a less restricted view and unlimited fresh air. Baggage can be carried in a Rucksack at a small additional cost. It will of course be perfectly safe, cabin announcements will be piped to external speakers.
Another on-wing arrival by Ryanair!
